Steps
Trace and Seal
-
Place the zip bag on top of the stencil and trace the shape with a marker.
-
Adjust the heat sealer level to the lowest point.
-
Place the zip bag on the sealer. Adjust the position to make sure that the crosses/dots are on the sealing line.
-
Push the sealing arm down and keep the arm down for 3-4 seconds. The zip bag must be straight to avoid any wrinkles from sealing.
Make a Gap
-
Cut the zip bag slightly bigger than the printed outline.
-
Tape a narrow paper on the zip bag to make a gap in the middle of the sealing.
-
Place the zip bag and push the sealing arm down.
Make a Hole
-
Make a cross/dot to mark the position of an air inlet hole with a pen. Fold the films crosswise around the mark. Make a VERY small hole (about 1-2 mm) with scissors.
-
Apply double-sided tape on the bottom of a connector. Make a through hole with an awl.
-
Cover the hole on the other side with tape.
Connect
-
Connect one end of the tube to the pouch, with the other end connecting to the syringe.
-
Connect the other of the tube to FlowIO.
-
Press the power button, and turn on the device.
Set Up
-
Open the Web-GUI with Google Chrome browser and click the "Connect" button.
-
Check Get Started Page for further instruction.
Move
-
Push air into the pouch to see the inflation of the pouch, and the flapping motion created by the expansion and contraction.
-
